Öz

İnsanoğlunun son yıllarda ortaya koyduğu yenilikler bilinen insanlık tarihinde daha önce benzeri görülmemiş gelişmeleri de beraberinde getirmiştir. Ortaya konan yeni teknolojiler, bir yandan yeni iş sahaları ve yeni mesleklerin ortaya çıkmasını sağlarken, diğer yandan mevcut iş seçeneklerinin çeşitlenmesini sağlamıştır. Özellikle endüstrileşme süreciyle birlikte, sporun her geçen gün değişen ve dönüşen hareketli yapısı, bu sektördeki istihdam olanaklarının da geniş bir yelpazeye yayılmasında etkili olmuştur. Bu araştırmada Ankara’daki spor bilimleri fakültelerinde öğrenim görmekte olan öğrencilerin kariyer uyum yeteneğine yönelik tutumları ve bu tutumların demografik özelliklere göre karşılaştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelinde olup, araştırmaya kolayda örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiş Ankara’daki (Ankara, Gazi, Hacettepe Üniversiteleri) spor bilimleri fakültelerinde öğrenim gören 444 üniversite öğrencisi katılmıştır. Çalışmada katılımcılara cinsiyet, bölüm, sınıf, lisanslı sporcu ve spora katılım gibi demografik bilgilerin bulunduğu kişisel bilgi formuna ek olarak, Savicas ve Profeli (2012) tarafından geliştirilen, Kanten (2012) tarafından Türkçe geçerlik ve güvenirliği yapılan Kariyer Uyum Yetenekleri Ölçeği (KUYÖ) kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin frekans, yüzde hesaplamaları yapılmış, ikili grupların analizinde t-Testi, üç ve daha fazla gruplar için ise One Way Anova testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada cinsiyet, öğrenim görülen bölüm ve sınıf değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılığa rastlanmazken, spora düzenli katılım ve lisanslı sporcu olma durumu değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak spor bilimleri fakültesi öğrencilerinin kariyer uyum yeteneği düzeylerinin yüksek olduğu görülmüştür.

STUDENTS OF FACULTY OF SPORT SCIENCES DETERMINATION OF CAREER ADAPTABILITY LEVELS: THE CASE OF ANKARA PROVINCE

Öz

The innovations that mankind has introduced in recent years have brought about developments unprecedented in the known history of mankind. New technologies have led to the emergence of new fields of work and new professions, while at the same time diversifying existing job options. Especially with the industrialization process, the ever-changing and transforming mobile structure of sports has been effective in expanding the employment opportunities in this sector to a wide range. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the attitudes of the students studying in the faculties of sport sciences in Ankara towards career adaptability and to compare these attitudes according to their demographic characteristics. The research is in the relational survey model and 444 university students studying at the faculties of sport sciences in Ankara (Ankara, Gazi, Hacettepe Universities) selected by convenience sampling method participated in the research. In the study, in addition to the personal information form containing demographic information such as gender, department, grade, licensed athlete and participation in sports, the Career Adaptability Scale developed by Savicas and Profeli (2012) and validated and reliable in Turkish by Kanten (2012) was applied to the participants. Frequency and percentage calculations were made, t-Test was used to analyze paired groups, and One Way Anova test was used for groups of three or more. In the study, it was found that there were no significant differences according to the variables of gender, department of education and class, while there were significant differences according to the variables of regular participation in sports and being a licensed athlete. As a result, it was concluded that the career adaptability levels of sport sciences faculty students were high.
