Ahi Evran University Journal of Kırşehir Education Faculty (KEFAD) is a peer-reviewed, open access and published three times a year journal that has been publishing academic, quantitative and qualitative studies in line with universal scientific criteria regarding education and teacher training since 2000 (April, August and December). KEFAD may publish a special issue once a year, subject to early announcement.


Ahi Evran University Journal of Education Faculty  publishes articles in TURKISH and ENGLISH languages. Authors are expected to submit their work as a full text in TURKISH for the peer review process. Studies accepted for publication are sent to the journal as full text in both TURKISH and ENGLISH. The author(s) are responsible for the linguistic quality of the work, and a proofreading document obtained from professional service companies is requested from accepted publications. Works containing language problems are sent back to the authors.

Announcement About the Updated Publication Policy
* Our journal's publication policy was changed by the decision of the KEFAD editorial board on 24.05.2024, and all new publications sent to our journal after this date will be evaluated in accordance with these policies. Articles submitted before this date are subject to previous decisions.


* New templates of our magazine (Turkish and English) have been published. Please consider these templates for your submissions. The new template will continue as of the December 2024 issue.

Announcement About Publication Language

Dear Authors,
The publication language policy of Kırşehir Ahi Evran University Journal of Education Faculty has been updated as of April 2018. You can find the details of the updated publication language policy in the notes below and on the Writing Rules page. When submitting a study to our journal, it is important to pay attention to the characteristics of prioritized and excluded studies, especially those specified on the "Aims and Scope" page.


1-It has been decided that the reviewer assessment process of the studies sent to our journal will be carried out on the full Turkish text. Therefore, we request you, our valued authors, to send only the full text of your work in Turkish for the reviewer assessment process.

Following the change made in the 2-TR Index Journal Evaluation Criteria for 2020, "Ethics Committee Approval" is requested for articles in all branches of science, including social sciences. Therefore, "Ethics Committee Approval" must be obtained from all studies submitted to our journal. Studies without ethics committee approval will not be included in the evaluation process (See TR Index Journal Evaluation Criteria Article 8).


3- KEFAD attaches importance to writing articles in accordance with the article writing templates on the home page of the journal. We kindly request our authors to take the relevant templates into consideration when submitting articles to our journal.

In article submissions, the name, institution and similar information of the person who may harm the evaluation process by revealing the identities of the persons should be deleted from the file and uploaded to the file system.

When uploading articles to the DergiPark system, entering article metadata is of great importance. In this context, the abstract, keywords, relevant sections and bibliography in both the Turkish and English parts of the studies must be entered into the system completely.
